Where can I sell a Volkswagen Transporter?
We buy every Volkswagen Transporter — any age, any mileage, any condition, including non-runners and MOT failures. Enter your registration and we'll look up the model and last recorded mileage automatically, then call you with a real offer. Collection is free anywhere in the UK and you're paid the same day.
Which Volkswagen Transporter have you got?
The badge covers a lot of ground, and the version matters to the price. These are the ones we see most:
- 2003–2015 (T5 / T5.1)
- 2015–2019 (T6)
- 2019 onwards (T6.1)
We buy all of them, in these body styles: panel van, kombi, highline, sportline, caravelle, camper conversion. If yours has been converted, modified or fitted out for a trade, that's fine — tell us on the call.
What moves the price on a Volkswagen Transporter?
Mileage and age are the obvious ones, but on this model these make a genuine difference:
- Highline and Sportline trim carry a substantial premium
- DSG automatic and 4Motion four-wheel drive
- Quality of any camper conversion, and whether it's documented
- Colour — Reflex Silver and Indium Grey move fastest
What we’ll ask you about
Every model has its known characteristics, and pretending otherwise helps nobody. On a Volkswagen Transporter we'll usually ask about:
- Timing chain and oil pump history on 2.0 TDI engines
- DSG service history where fitted
- Whether a conversion was professionally done and notified to DVLA
None of these stop us buying. Being upfront about them is what keeps the price we agree on the phone the same as the price you're paid on the day.
What if it doesn’t run?
We still buy it. A Volkswagen Transporter that won’t start, has failed its MOT, or has a major engine or gearbox fault is priced as a non-runner rather than turned away. Collection is still free — we bring the right vehicle to move it, so it never has to be driven on the road.
Selling a Volkswagen Transporter: common questions
How much is my van worth?
It depends on the model, mileage, condition and how the market is moving that week. Enter your registration and we'll pull the make, model and last recorded mileage automatically, then ask four short questions. A member of the team calls you with a real figure — not an algorithm's guess you have to argue down later.
Do you buy vans that don't run?
Yes. We buy non-runners, MOT failures, vans with blown engines or gearboxes, and vans that haven't moved in years. Tell us it's a non-runner on the condition question and we'll price it as one. Collection is still free — we bring the right vehicle to move it.
Is collection really free?
Yes, anywhere in the UK. We come to your home, your yard or wherever the van is sitting, at a time that suits you. There is no collection fee, no admin fee and nothing deducted from the agreed price. The figure we agree is the figure you receive.
When do I get paid?
The same day we collect. Payment is made by bank transfer once we've seen the van and the paperwork is signed, so the money is moving before we drive away. We don't pay by cheque and we don't hold funds for a clearing period.
Can I sell a van with outstanding finance?
Yes, this is common and completely normal. Ask your finance company for a settlement figure before we speak. If the van is worth more than the settlement, we clear the finance directly and pay you the difference. If it's worth less, you cover the shortfall to complete the sale.
How long does the whole thing take?
Most sellers go from entering their registration to an agreed price the same day. Collection is usually arranged within 24 to 72 hours depending on where you are and when suits you. If you need it gone urgently, say so on the call and we'll work around it.
