How it works
From reg to paid, usually inside 48 hours
No forecourt visit. No advert to write. No time-wasters ringing you at nine at night about a van you listed three weeks ago.
How do I sell my van?
Enter your registration, answer four questions about mileage and condition, and a member of the team calls you with an offer. If you accept, we book a collection slot that suits you, come to the van wherever it is in the UK, and pay by bank transfer the same day. There is no cost to you at any point.
Step 1 — Enter your registration
We look your van up against DVLA and MOT records and show you the make, model, year and last recorded mileage. That is not a gimmick: it means you are confirming facts rather than filling in a form, and it means the person who calls you already knows what they are looking at.
As soon as you have given us a reg and a phone number, you are on our list. The rest of the questions make the offer sharper, but if you stop there we will still call you.
Step 2 — Tell us about the van
Four questions: mileage, how it drives, how the bodywork looks, and what you are hoping to get. Then an optional photo step.
Be blunt with us. Every fault you mention up front is a fault that cannot be used to knock the price down on collection day. The figure we agree on the phone is the figure we pay, provided the van is as described.
Step 3 — A person calls you with an offer
Not an instant online number that gets revised the moment someone actually looks at the van. A buyer reviews what you have told us, checks what the model is doing at auction and in the trade that week, and rings you with a figure they will stand behind.
There is no obligation. Plenty of people get a figure and think about it.
Step 4 — Free collection, same-day payment
We come to you — home, yard, industrial estate, wherever the van is sitting. Non-runners and vans with no MOT are collected on a transporter, so nothing has to be driven on the road.
We check the van matches the description, you sign the paperwork, and the bank transfer goes out the same day. We handle the DVLA notification so you are no longer the registered keeper.
What do I need to have ready?
- The V5C logbook — or tell us upfront if it is missing.
- Photo ID — driving licence or passport.
- Proof of address — a recent utility bill or bank statement.
- Both sets of keys if you have them.
- Service history and MOT certificates — these usually help the price.
- A finance settlement figure if there is outstanding finance.
What does it cost?
Nothing. There is no valuation fee, no collection charge, no admin fee and nothing deducted at the point of payment. The figure agreed on the phone is the figure that arrives in your account.
What’s your van worth?
- We collect from anywhere in the UK, and collection is always free.
- The money is in your account the day we collect. No waiting, no cheques.
- Damaged, MOT-failed, high-mileage or completely dead — we still want it.
Questions about the process
How much is my van worth?
It depends on the model, mileage, condition and how the market is moving that week. Enter your registration and we'll pull the make, model and last recorded mileage automatically, then ask four short questions. A member of the team calls you with a real figure — not an algorithm's guess you have to argue down later.
Is collection really free?
Yes, anywhere in the UK. We come to your home, your yard or wherever the van is sitting, at a time that suits you. There is no collection fee, no admin fee and nothing deducted from the agreed price. The figure we agree is the figure you receive.
When do I get paid?
The same day we collect. Payment is made by bank transfer once we've seen the van and the paperwork is signed, so the money is moving before we drive away. We don't pay by cheque and we don't hold funds for a clearing period.
What paperwork do I need?
The V5C logbook, your photo ID, and proof you own the van. Bring service history and MOT certificates if you have them — they usually help the price. If the V5C is missing we can still buy the van, but tell us upfront because it changes the process.
Can I sell a van with outstanding finance?
Yes, this is common and completely normal. Ask your finance company for a settlement figure before we speak. If the van is worth more than the settlement, we clear the finance directly and pay you the difference. If it's worth less, you cover the shortfall to complete the sale.
How long does the whole thing take?
Most sellers go from entering their registration to an agreed price the same day. Collection is usually arranged within 24 to 72 hours depending on where you are and when suits you. If you need it gone urgently, say so on the call and we'll work around it.
Will the price change when you collect it?
Only if the van is materially different from how it was described. If you tell us about the dent, the warning light and the 140,000 miles, the agreed figure stands. Photos help enormously here — the more we can see upfront, the less room there is for a surprise on the day.
Do you buy from businesses as well as private sellers?
Yes. We buy single vans from sole traders and whole fleets from larger companies, and we handle VAT-qualifying vans and lease returns routinely. If you're disposing of several vehicles at once, mention it when we call and we'll arrange collection in one visit.
What happens to my details after I enquire?
They're used to value your van and contact you about it, and nothing else. We do not sell or share your details with third-party buyers, brokers or lead generators. Photos you upload are stored privately and are never published. You can ask us to delete everything at any time.
Do I need an MOT to sell my van?
No. We buy vans with no MOT, expired MOTs and failed MOTs, and we don't ask you to spend money getting one before you sell. Since we collect the van ourselves, it never has to be driven on the road by you.
